بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَبِاللَّهِ bismillāhi wabillāh In the name of Allah and by Allah

وَعَلَى مِلَّةِ رَسُوْلِ اللَّهِ wa`alā millati rasūlillāh And upon the religion of the Messenger of Allah
3
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa-ālih May Allah's blessings be upon him and his family
4
أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ash-hadu an lā ilāha illallāh I bear witness that there is no god but Allah
5
وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ waḥdahu lā sharīka lah Alone with no partner
6
وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُوْلُهُ wa-ash-hadu anna muḥammadan `abduhu warasūluh And I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger
7
وَأَنَّ عَلِيًّا وَلِيُّ اللَّهِ wa-anna `aliyyan waliyyullāh And that Ali is the guardian of Allah
